We ask for proof.
Why waste energy,
On blind faith?
To the Heavens, we stare!
Seeking manifestation –
Of hidden desires.
Why? Why!
Does no one listen?
We cry out in vain.
Yet all around,
Ample evidence
Of what we seek.
A baby’s giggle,
The happy wag of a tail,
Our surprising existence.
Wonder abounds!
But only for those,
Willing to see.
